The park will be located in Qiddiya, an entertainment and tourism complex on the outskirts of the country's capital, Riyadh. The project announcement was jointly made by Qiddiya Investment Company and Toei Animation.

The Dragon Ball theme park is expected to cover an area exceeding 500,000 square meters, featuring various zones inspired by iconic locations from the manga and anime, such as Kame House, Capsule Corporation, and Beerus's Planet. The project also plans to implement over 30 attractions, including five technologically advanced rides, making Qiddiya a real treat for series fans. Offering themed hotels and restaurants as well, the park has the potential to attract Dragon Ball enthusiasts from around the world, serving as a tribute to Toriyama's legacy and the global reach of his work. "Dragon Ball," first published as a manga series in 1984, gained international fame, becoming one of the most recognizable brands worldwide and contributing to the popularization of manga and anime on a global scale.
